What is social responsibility for us

WE BELONGS TO THE TOP COMPANIES FROM THE WATER AND SEWAGE SECTOR IN NEPAL. IT IS THE LARGEST COMPANY IN NEPAL DEALING IN THE COLLECTION, TREATMENT AND SUPPLY OF COLD WATER, COLLECTION AND TREATMENT OF SEWAGE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF WATER AND SEWAGE MANAGEMENT. OUR ACTIVITIES HAVE CERTAIN CONSEQUENCES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. EVERY DAY, WE ASSUME SUCH OBLIGATIONS AND OBLIGATIONS TOWARDS OUR STAKEHOLDERS AND THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.

In our activity, we do not focus on one, selective area of ​​operation. We look wider. We believe that we are part of a larger whole, understood as a network of social, environmental and market links. This is how we define sustainable development at our Company

Our definition of sustainable development has its own reference and is reflected in business decisions, way of work, thinking of the management and employees. It significantly affects the implementation of our business policy and the management of projects and processes. In our activities, we are not indifferent to the current needs and expectations of our stakeholders.

Sustainable development at our Company is inextricably linked to the concept of corporate social responsibility of our company, which concept is a narrower concept for us. Despite this, we believe that sustainable development and social responsibility of our Company can go hand in hand and this is what is happening in practice. We have expressed this in our strategy for sustainable development and responsible business.

Both concepts have a common denominator. It is responsibility. Responsibility for our recipients, business continuity, uninterrupted and qualitative service provision, for the whole organization along with its system of connections, ie partners, suppliers, companies providing various types of services, and above all responsibility for employees.

We are aware of our responsibility in the field of environmental protection in our areas.

In practice, this means readiness to make difficult decisions and raise awareness of their consequences in the future. We believe that this approach builds the value of the entire company and the brand in the eyes of our stakeholders.



Our strategy

The strategy was developed by our employees with the participation of stakeholders and sets the priorities of our functioning on the market, in the area of ​​the workplace, care for the natural environment and issues related to social involvement. The document is also aimed at supporting the achievement of business goals and building the Company brand value.

The development of our strategy was preceded by a broad analysis of the company's situation, our conclusions were based on direct interviews with employees and detailed research: we held 30 employee meetings with representatives of various departments, we organized 3 dialogue sessions with stakeholders, we conducted 3 workshops with the Management Board, we carried out a SWOT analysis from mapping all processes, we organized an anonymous survey on sustainable development and CSR at Our Company in which 31% of employees from all staff took part. What's more, the strategy has grown up and is part of the organizational culture of our Company, which is why in the coming years we will focus on achieving strategic goals. We base our strategy on four areas.
